Resumen: This work has to do with a receptive skill, which can be overtaken: listening we start by giving a brief overview of different methodologies through history of listenining in the learning of a language. Listening is not just a tasks we have to do, just for its own sake. Listening has to do with communication. The focus is to help students be better listeners. We propose the importance of establishing appropriate goals for students improving listening performance.
